KDK – Autumn Winter 2015-16 Luxury Cashmere Scarf Collection
Luxury for everyday life for your Autumn Winter wardrobe
The KDK Autumn Winter 2015-16 has launched with lots of new lighter material and abstract prints. The luxury cashmere designers KDK are now in their sixth season and have introduced a new material and size to their scarf offering. The latest range are a beautiful silk, cashmere and modal mix which makes them extremely soft and lightweight. The high grade 100% cashmere that has made the KDK scarves so loved by their wearers is also available in the range. KDK scarves have been spotted on a number of high profile fashion forward women such as Lynda Carter (Wonder women), Millie Mackintosh and Amy Huberman.
The emphasis of this Autumn Winter 2015-16 collection is Ireland and some of the noted and historic architecture in Dublin city. The sisters use photographs as the base of their abstract print designs, buildings such as the GPO and the Four Courts lend their iconic images to express a feeling of independence, and Irish culture throughout the KDK Autumn Winter collection. These prints purposely coincide with the 100th anniversary of the Easter Rising and the other images used throughout the collection are key Irish landmarks, celebrating the joining of old and new Ireland such as O’Connell Street, the Spire, Connemara clouds, the outline of the Island of Ireland and the iconic Dolmens in Co. Clare.
The Autumn Winter scarf designs reflect KDKs signature style of dramatic print and abstract imagery that turns these accessories into works of art. The picture isn’t always evident close up but from afar the image it becomes clear. Strong grey and black tones are heightened by the on trend jewel colours of this season; sapphire blue, emerald and burgundy.
KDK is stocked in Brown Thomas Dublin and leading boutiques nationwide to include Costume and Gallery 9 and online on www.kdk.ie . Prices start at €130.
